Yes, grapes in a bottle-but it’s not wine. Is that misleading? We apologize, but it was necessary to grab your attention. This product has been wonderful for my skin. I’m obligated to share it with you. I’d like to start by mentioning what the product promises to do and then discuss what it actually does. Sephora’s site description states, “The complexion treatment reduces dullness and is infused with toning rosemary, astringent mint, and soothing rose essential oil to prepare your skin for further treatments.”

Let’s find out if it’s true to its words.

I’ve been familiar with the brand for some time now, always intrigued by their packaging yet never attempting to try one of the products. I had been talking about the brand with a few friends, each mentioning a product they adore for different reasons yet no one was bringing up the beauty elixir. That’s when I took it upon myself to investigate. I read all there was to know about the product, tried it out at Sephora to be sure I was comfortable with the scent and proceeded to purchase it. I wasn’t interested in using it as a setting spray, more so as a toner after washing my face in the morning. Also, after showering I’d immediately feel my skin dehydrated and absolutely hated the feeling. It claims to add an “instant burst of radiance” and I’m all about the instant results. I started using it daily and loved the feeling of it on my skin. It became my go-to product, I’d use it after my shower, in the morning when prepping and priming my skin and even at night before going to sleep. I found the scent to be calming and relaxing. I bought the travel size bottle and had it in my bag for a quick refresh during the day. I must say it did wonders for my makeup. At first I was skeptical of it smudging my mascara, it had happened in the past with several thermal water sprays. Thankfully, the beauty elixir gave my face the glow it needed after a long day.

Ultimately, I understand that the price tag is quite hefty for a product that you’d want to ideally, use every single day. However, if you are a person who invests in your skincare regimen I think this will justify your purchase. I did in fact feel that it reduced dullness on my face, especially after a long day of wearing makeup, or even a sleepless night. It is a product I keep repurchasing because it never seems to fail me. The feeling of freshness after spritzing it on my face is incomparable.

I’d love to know your thoughts on this product. Have you found a more affordable option that works wonders for your skin? Is it worth using it as a setting spray too? Sound off in the comments below.
