How often is a DIY, Pinterest inspired recipe successful? I've tried several ones for my hair and let's just say I kept washing it and banana pieces were still stuck to my strands. We meticulously choose these recipes which are simple, easy and when you decide to share them with your special guy, he won't start running for the door. This one in particular, is quite loved amongst our guy friends, especially those who have an issue with blackheads. Sure, they dislike the part of mixing the ingredients, however love it when the mask starts working and end up with obvious results. Share it together, mix the ingredients and go for it!

After washing the face, gently apply over the face, avoiding the eyes of course. The consistency should be somewhat runny yet still feel like a paste, in order for you to apply it. Ideally, this should stay on for no more than twenty minutes; it should feel tight on the skin. However, if it feels uncomfortable at any given time, remove it immediately.

If you've reached the twenty minute mark, lightly wet your hands and start scrubbing your face until the mask peels off. Keep on rinsing until you've entirely removed it, baking soda should not stay on the face.

We'd love to hear how this mask worked for you! Anything else you might add in the mix? Let us know in the comments below.

TIPS:

  1. Make sure to wash your face first.
  2. Have a towel nearby in case it starts flaking.
  3. Ideally, a hot shower or a steamer beforehand will help open the pores.

LOVE,

EQ
